Silver Collage Club is a fortnightly creative group for senior women with disabilities that is perfect for unwinding and getting creative. Each session includes a short presentation, time to make your own collages, and the chance to practice mindfulness, relax and unwind.

Collage making offers a unique way to engage the mind in a form of meditation that we can easily participate in. Unlike traditional meditation practices that rely on stillness and silence, collage art allows for an active engagement with materials that can quiet the mind and focus thoughts.

During your expressive mindfulness session, you will work on your own process, much like meditation and often in silence. The breath acts as an anchor for self-expression as you mindfully undertake the collage making activity. A session includes:

  • mindfulness
  • invitations to cut and paste using recycled vintage images
  • feelings of wellbeing and relaxation
  • supportive processing of your experience.

Silver Collage Club is facilitated by Robyn Davis and presented by Women with Disabilities ACT.

We have received funding from the ACT Government Health and Community Services Directorate for this program.

Silver Collage Club will start again in February 2026.

Robyn will be facilitating sessions both in-person and online.
