Our Autonomy

Our Autonomy is run by people with disabilities, for people with disabilities. It aims to build skills, knowledge, confidence & community. It is especially for women, girls, gender diverse and non-binary people in the ACT.

The project has 3 main activities:

  1. Fortnightly peer events (such as coffee catch-ups, crafternoons)
  2. Monthly Info & skill building workshops presented by specialised facilitators
  3. A yearly member made magazine/publication with events that lead up to submission dates.

The Our Autonomy Project is running from July 2024 – June 2027 and all topics and events can be directed by you. Let WWDACT staff know what events and workshops you would like to see.
