WWDACT Policy Network

WWDACT has launched our online Policy Network!

The Policy Network is an online platform where you can:

Meet other women, non-binary and gender diverse people with disabilities interested in policy
Hear about the work WWDACT is doing in policy and advocacy
Discuss issues in policy and advocacy that are important to you
Hear about consultations and other opportunities to get involved

The Policy Network is hosted on Slack. You can look at Slack using your internet browser (on a computer), or using an app (on your phone).

How to join the network

The network is only open to WWDACT members. You can become a member for free.

If you are a WWDACT member you can fill out this form and we will send you a link to join the network.

WWDACT is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and has Deductible Gift Recipient status.

WWDACT’s core funding for policy and advocacy is provided by the ACT Government.

Women with Disabilities ACT acknowledges the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples as the traditional custodians of the ACT Region. Sovereignty was never ceded and this always was and always will be Aboriginal land. We are committed to learning from and working with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peers for justice and autonomy.
