Message from the Chair

Dear Members and Friends,

WWDACT cordially invites you to our AGM on 21 November. The AGM will be held in the Daily-Chronicle Room at EAST Hotel (corner of Canberra Avenue and Giles St, Kingston) at 7.45pm. It will be preceded by a screening of the film Mirrorball at 6.00pm and a panel discussion on respectful relationships, sexual and reproductive rights for women with disabilities and their partners. There will be a chance for coffee and tea with refreshments before the AGM starts. Papers for the AGM will be sent out one week prior to the event.

This event starts off the celebrations for I-day on 3 December and we look forward to catching up with all our members, associate members, colleagues and supporters then.

There is still time to take out membership of WWDACT in order to be able to vote at the AGM.

Full membership is open to anyone who identifies as a woman, girl, non-binary or feminine person with a disability and who believes in WWDACT’s values and mission. Association membership is open to everyone who believes in, and supports the organisation.

We are also accepting Expressions of Interest from full members who would like to nominate for a position on our Board of Directors. Go to our Facebook page for more information.

Regards, and see you there,
Sue Salthouse
Chair, WWDACT
