Meet Eleanor – our new Organisational Development Officer
Hello all! My name is Eleanor (she/her) and while hailing from New South Wales, I call Canberra my home while I complete my studies. My role at WWDACT is Organisational Development Officer (but people tend to call me ‘Odo’!). My background is in social research and policy communication and I am excited about being able to apply and add to my skills in the disability advocacy sector.
I have a particular interest in mental health inclusion and how we can make our education systems more accessible. I am keen to further my knowledge across all areas of inclusion and to share it through useful resources for our members and board. I look forward to taking on board member suggestions for developing our capacity in both the short and long term. I also have a soft spot for animals, so whether it’s a question, suggestions or a cute dog photo, feel free to reach out to me at policy@wwdact.org.au.
