Message from the Chair
Dear Members and Colleagues,
The ACT Budget for 2019-20 was handed down on Tuesday 5 June. WWDACT CEO, Clare Moore, braved the budget lockup on our behalf, and has made a rapid summary of budget features which we think are most important for women with disabilities.
Of course WWDACT will continue to work with government across all directorates to ensure that policies and programs developed are inclusive of women with disabilities. We will be particularly looking at access to health services, improved safety in the community and freedom from violence wherever we live and whatever form our family takes.
