WWDACT is excited to announce the launch of a new program, ‘Our Voices, Our Spaces: Co-Creating Community with LGBTIQA+ People with Disabilities’.
We are delivering this program in partnership with Inclusive Rainbow Voices – Australia’s only LGBTQIA+ DPO and advocacy organisation.
This is a peer support initiative, open to all LGBTQIA+ people with disabilities living in Canberra. We will be co-designing this program with our community over the next few months – we want to hear from you about your experiences, needs and priorities we can address together with this program. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months, and we will let you know how you can get involved.
The program has been funded by the ACT Government through their Office for Disability and Office for LGBTIQA+ Affairs. WWDACT was visited by ACT Minister for Disability and Community Services, Suzanne Orr, to celebrate the announcement of the program this week.
