Are you a person with a disability or mental illness? Are you between the ages of 16 and 25? Do you want to share your story? Do you want to tell the world about a topic you’re passionate about? Do you have something to say to the world and have just been waiting for the right opportunity to say it?

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Women with Disabilities ACT (WWDACT) is hosting the inaugural variety show for young people with disabilities, Pitch Your Passion.

Pitch Your Passion is a show involving a mix of young people speaking about a topic they’re passionate about and a chance for performers to get on stage and show us what they’ve got!

So even if you’re not a performer but really have something to say, whether it be about your lived experience, your struggles, something you love, something you hate or a topic you’re just really passionate about, Pitch Your Passion is interested in hearing from you too.

It is hoped that this will become a yearly event in order to create more performance opportunities for young people with disabilities and mental health challenges in the Canberra region.

If you’ve got a story, topic or idea that you’ve been wanting to share with a live audience and fit the above criteria please scroll down to fill out an expression of interest form.
